Mega Crockett

If you're of a certain age (borderline geezerhood?) then David Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier, might have a certain resonance with you ...

As it happens, Mega Collector is recently the proud owner of a large panel from "Davy Crockett, the Comic" that was drawn in 1955 to aid and abet the television mini-series/ theatrical movie of the same name ... when Davy Crocket wasn't just a craze but close to a national religion.

Meg doesn't know who the artist of these panels is, but he knows that the comic is uber nostalgic for a chosen few ...

Mr. Arambula has a good eye. It is indeed Jesse Marsh art, from "Davy Crockett at the Alamo", a Davy Crockett One-Shot from July, 1955.
